It is always pleasure to be invited to photograph and video weddings, even more so when the bride and groom are friends of ours.
Jemma and Marc chose to get married at the fabulous venue of The Fennes. The Fennes is our local wedding venue located in Bocking, Essex, only a few miles from our base in Sible Hedingham. Situated in 100 acres of tranquil Essex countryside, the Fennes is a beautiful Georgian manor house with landscaped gardens adjoining a stunning and elegant silk lined pavilion. The perfect setting for a wedding. Although in mid March the temperatures were already around 14 degrees and with 17 degrees predicted later in the day, it felt more like a summer wedding.
We headed up to see Jemma for bride prep photographs. As always the atmosphere was full of fun and excitement with the anticipation of the day ahead.
We then headed downstairs to meet Marc the groom and the grooms-men for a few formal group photos and portrait shots.
The ceremony was held in the pavilion and as always looked stunning. The entrance of the bride was amazing and Marc you did very well to hold it together. (I will check the video footage on that one)
Now it was onto the drinks reception, group photos and bride and groom portraits. I have to confess I didn't take the heart shape group photo my colleage Tony (videographer) took this one as I was actually part of the photo.
After much fun it was onto the speeches and dancing but first we had time to capture the sunset from the pond area at The Fennes.
A fantastic day was had by all, Jemma you looked stunning, Marc you did look smart, congratulations to you both and I hope you enjoy the photos and video for many years to come.

Paul Hubbard Photographic had the pleasure of covering the wedding of Katie and Malachy on the 29th December 2013 at the stunning venue of Great Fosters.
Great Fosters is located in Egham, Surrey, set in fantastic 50 acre gardens and parkland. Great Fosters is a large Grade One listed building that is immaculately preserved and has the enviable location of being close to Heathrow and the M25. The Luxury romantic hotel provides the perfect setting for a wedding and of course the perfect opportunity for me as a wedding photographer. Katie and Malachy's wedding was held at Great Fosters with the reception being located in the fabulous 14th century Tithe Barn. The extensive gardens provide an excellent backdrop for formal group and portrait wedding photography set off by the Saxon moat.
Now onto the wedding day. After navigating through the traffic on the M25 I arrived for bridal preparation photography shots in one of the stunning rooms. Actually the location was more like two rooms. I also had the pleasure of catching up with Sarah (one of the bridesmaids at this wedding that I photographed around 4 years ago at her own wedding). So many opportunities here for photography with lovely lighting and a fun atmosphere.
The ceremony was set in a stunning part of Great Fosters overlooking the courtyards and gardens beyond. Following the ceremony we headed out for a few portrait shots and group shots, one taken from on the roof (I think I was safe up there).
The evening started with the speeches which were excellent and then I photographed the couple outside to capture the Christmas lights at the front of the building and the quirky small front door.
Then onto the evening and followed by a few fun and games the first dance. What a fantastic day and a fantastic couple.
I hope you like the photographs. Paul Hubbard

Paul Hubbard Photographic was lucky enough to be the chosen wedding photographer Essex for Sarah and Luke at the White Hart in great Yeldham on the 5th November 2013. Being located only 2 miles from the wedding venue this is a favourite venue of ours. There is always a fantastic atmosphere at The White Hart in great Yeldham and we hope we captured this in the wedding photographs we took. There was also a surprise for the wedding guests when two of the waiters took to the mics for a song and a comedy act. This ws planned of course and the two waiters were in fact actors hired in by the happy couple. We have seen this before but I have to say these two were by far the best we have seen to date. This helped settle everyone ready for the wedding speeches which were also amongst the best. Paul Hubbard Photographic your wedding photographer Essex would like to thank you both for choosing our services and wish you all the best for the future.
Please take a look at the images below, comments and likes are always welcome.

This was the first time being back at The Essex for a weeding photography shoot in many years. The wedding was held downstairs in the large conservatory overlooking the golf course grounds and at 5.30pm the lighting was very romantic, not quite dark but a twilight look. The portrait shots were taken from the upstairs balcony and the group shots back downstairs. There was a really nice atmosphere throughout the day and im sure the evening was a lot of fun considering the size of the band Wendy and ?Simon had booked. Good luck to you both in the future.
